Conclusion

The Satellite Pro L300 is a business savvy notebook. It doesnt have a glossy finish or any special features to make it stand out. What you see is what you get: a minimalistic, yet very functional notebook at a good price. The L300 comes with a good variety of ports, has a nice screen and a great keyboard. It is a little heavy and big to be a traveling companion in my opinion, but many business users like to watch movies or presentations while traveling and the 15.4" screen does it justice. Performance wise it gets the job done as well, I wouldnt expect to be gaming on the L300 much though.

Toshiba Satellite M645 S4118X

The Toshiba Satellite M645-S4118X is a medium sized laptop up last year for $ 1,099. In terms of design is concerned, this model will not win any awards, but we still like how it looks though the interior is bright finished one of our favorites. This idea with the same design that Toshiba has been using for several years and believe it is time for a change.

Lets talk about the hardware specifications of this model and noted that is powered by a second generation of Intel Core i5-2410M processor of 2.30 GHz clock frequency. Toshiba has equipped this model with 6 GB of DDR3 memory running at 1,333 MHz, while storage comes with a large 640 GB hard drive that is spinning at 5,400 rpm. The Intel HM65 is one, while in the graphics department is equipped with a dedicated Nvidia GeForce GT 525M and an integrated Intel HD 3000. It is noteworthy that this laptop benefits from the NVIDIA Optimus.

Toshiba Satellite M645-S4118X This measures 13.3 x 9 x 1.1 to 1.4 inches and weighs 5 pounds or 5.8 pounds if you add the AC adapter. It is still quite bulky laptops despite having a more compact size compared to other models of Toshiba Satellite lineup.

We like how you feel the keyboard while typing, but do not enjoy the glossy finish on the keys. We would have liked, if Toshiba extended the edge to edge keyboard in order to improve the living fingers, but still seems to be very comfortable to use plus it will have no problem with it at night as it benefits from a backlight. Sitting below is a touchpad that has a matte finish and seems to be more sensitive time. We should also mention that the top of the keyboard is a set of touch controls that are LED backlit and handle the volume, Wi-Fi, battery-saving Eco Utility and backlight.

It features a bright 15.6-inch screen has a native resolution of 1,366 x 768 pixels, it is reasonable to view the content of 720p. Although he manages to be very clear, it is not alive or bright, as we have seen in other models in this segment. On the other hand, you can enjoy the impressive Harman Kardon speakers that sound great and are superior to what you can get for the money if you buy another laptop.

In terms of connectivity, has VGA, HDMI port, headphone / microphone jacks, two USB 2.0 (one is a dream and load), a USB 3.0 port and an SD card slot. To get Bluetooth network, an Ethernet port and Wi-Fi 802.11n. We should also mention the very important Blu-ray combo. The 6-cell battery for the Toshiba Satellite M645-S4118X is able to last about two hours during the test of video playback.
